The last leg of your journey to Iceland might be cheapest from Copenhagen, London Stansted, London Heathrow, Frankfurt Rhein Main or Frankfurt Hahn.

Check out:

Iceland Express

or Icelandair at

www.icelandair.co.uk and/or www.icelandair.dk

If you are comming from Europe it might be cheapest to fly first to London, Copenhagen or Frankfurt. To get to Copenhagen the Sterling low-fare airline might be a good choice. To get to London Standstead or Frankfurt Hahn Ryanair might be a good choice.

You can also drive over from Europe and take the Smyril Line over from Norway, Denmark or from Scotland by taking a NorthLink Ferry first.

Icelandair flys from Baltimore/Washington, New York/JFK, Minnapolis/St Paul, Orlando, San Fransico and Philadelphia in the USA and from Amsterdam, Barcelona, Berlin, Copenhagen, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt Rhein Main, Glasgow, Gotenburg, Hamburg, Helsinki, London Heathrow, Milan, Munich, Oslo, Paris, Stockholm, Vienna and Zurich in Europe.

If you are coming from America, you might get cheap flights direct or it might be cheaper to fly first all the way across the Atlantic via Icelandair at

www.icelandair.com

or another carrier such as British Airways, Virgin Atlantic or some of the US carriers.

To get to an Icelandair US hub you might want to use Delta Airlines, Southwest Airlines, American Airlines, Northwest Airlines, United Airlines or Continental Airlines.

Here is the Icelandic Icelandair site:
